Enjoy the Silence

I had no idea what to expect from the Path into Light seminar. The content, the participants, the timeline—it was all a mystery. Roko only mentioned that I would explore myself at a deeper level and gain clarity on my life purpose in the seminar. Trusting him with my life, I agreed to attend without any hesitation.

After the seminar, I understood why Roko had kept the details vague. Some experiences in life are beyond words. Imagine watching a breathtaking sunset on the beach, the sun sinking into the ocean with a mesmerizing beauty. It's a moment that draws you closer to the divine. You want to share it with loved ones, so you take a picture but when you look at it, you see it is far from the real beauty of the moment. No photograph can do justice to the beauty of a sunset; it remains a mere imitation, unable to reflect the power and magnificence of the real experience.

In the same way, attempting to describe this seminar with words would result in a pale imitation, no matter how skillfully I try. This realization also helped me understand Roko's tendency to remain silent about certain profound experiences. What can one truly say about the incredible beauty or power of these moments? Words seem only inadequate. Therefore, I won’t attempt to explain the details of the seminar, as that would diminish the experience itself. Instead, I will share how I discovered my dream and life purpose during the seminar and how it illuminated my path forward.

Paradise Village

During one of the seminar sessions, Roko and Irma guided us into a deep meditation, leading us to our happy place. As soon as I closed my eyes, I followed a light emanating from my heart and found myself in a small village nestled within a lush forest. At first, I soared above it, observing about ten to fifteen quaint wooden houses scattered throughout the trees. In the center stood a village square, where a large fire flickered invitingly. I landed in the square, and the villagers began to emerge—everyone I loved so dearly, people I always had dreamt of living with. Here we were, together in the commune I had always envisioned, living simply in harmony with nature. That night, we gathered around the fire for our weekly celebration. We danced, sang loudly, and celebrated life until exhaustion washed over us. This night was a tribute to the paradise we had created on earth, a celebration of love, light, and the fire within our souls.

As we danced, birds flew above us, and dogs frolicked around the fire, joining in our revelry. This was a magical village filled with special gifts and talents. We communicated with animals, plants, and trees, and each of us possessed unique healing abilities. It was a community of love, compassion, healing, and joy. We danced through the night, culminating in a leap over the fire. Then, we raced to the beach and plunged into the ocean, swimming in a sea of love and gratitude. Just then, Roko and Irma gently guided us out of meditation and back into our bodies.

Throughout the meditation, the phrase "heaven on earth" echoed in my mind. This village was a little slice of heaven, a testament that such a reality is possible. When I opened my eyes, I realized that this village and the feelings it evoked were my life’s dream. It was a healing sanctuary, a place where we could heal ourselves and welcome anyone in need of healing for as long as they needed. Governed by love, kindness, and compassion, this was where we manifested heaven on earth, a reflection of the paradise already within us.

The Journey of the Dream

How unrealistic and distant this may sound when expressed this way! We often convince ourselves that dreams are unattainable, relegating them to a future that feels out of reach. So much so that we often say, "Well, it's just a dream" when describing something seemingly impossible, as if dreams cannot be real. I refuse to accept that. Dreams are real; they are the most genuine reality we possess. As the insightful book, School for Gods, states, “The dream is the only reality.”

I knew this village I have seen in my meditation was my dream. I felt it in my heart that it was already real, simply waiting for me to embrace it. All I needed to do was embark on my path and savor every moment of the journey ahead. I could sense a magical adventure awaiting me, and I was filled with excitement.

This is when I realized that a dream is not merely a destination. It encompasses both the destination and the journey. They are intertwined and inseparable.

We mistake ourselves when we believe that our dreams are destination points and that our journeys exist solely to lead us there. You don’t determine your journey based on the destination. You determine your destination because the path towards it is a beautiful journey. You don’t start by choosing a destination, you start by choosing a path. Therefore, every moment you spend on that path is a dream coming true.

That does not mean it is always going to be easy. It can be, and for sure at times, will be hard, but it will always be beautiful. That is why you won’t give up. Then your dream becomes your everyday reality. You start living within that dream within each moment. You don’t even worry about arriving at the destination or not. If you’re already living the reality of your dream, then why would you worry about the future? The future becomes only a servant to the present moment, keeping you on your path. And you don’t stay on the path to arrive, you stay on the path because you love it and it is your dream. And because of that, it is always certain that you will also arrive. And when you arrive, it will just be an added bonus. Just a cherry on top!

Purpose of Life

Since the day I met Roko, who reminded me that I create my reality every day, I have been consciously choosing to live my dream. The vision I experienced during meditation was not just about the physical village itself; it represented the soul of the village—love, kindness, compassion, joy, and community. In that realization, I also discovered my life purpose: to share and expand love and joy in the world- a choice I consciously make each day regardless of circumstances. It truly is that simple.

A friend once shared a beautiful note on social media, attributed to an unknown author:

“‘What is my purpose in life?’ I asked the void. ‘What if I told you that you fulfilled it when you took an extra hour to talk to that kid about his life?’ said the voice. ‘Or when you paid for that young couple in the restaurant? Or when you saved that dog in traffic? Or when you tied your father’s shoes for him?’ ‘Your problem is that you equate your purpose with goal-based achievement. The universe isn’t interested in your achievements… just your heart. When you choose to act out of kindness, compassion, and love, you are already aligned with your true purpose. No need to look any further!’”

Roko and Irma guided us into another meditation in which we connected with various guiding spirits to receive messages about our spiritual journeys. One of these spirits was Agni, the God of fire. His name means "fire" in Sanskrit and is also the spiritual name of Roko and Irma’s teacher, the creator of the Path into Light tradition. He splits his time between Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Amritabha, the center of the tradition in France. When I connected with Agni during meditation, I heard him invite me: “Come and see me.”

When I returned home after the seminar, I searched for Agni online. I discovered the website for the center in France, and the first message I encountered was: "Bringing heaven on earth." This was the very phrase that had resonated in my mind during meditation. At that moment, I knew I had to meet him. I found him on Facebook and sent a message: “Hi Agni! I’m Didem from Istanbul, Turkey. I just finished the Path into Light seminar with Roko and Irma. I’d like to ask for my spiritual name, and I would love to meet you in Santa Fe if the timing is right.”

The next day, he replied: “I will see you in Santa Fe.” And that’s how I found myself with Agni in Santa Fe, New Mexico!
